The best way to enjoy Kapoho is to relax and take in its sights and sounds, whether you are staying in a cabin surrounded by tropical forest or in a vacation home on the edge of the Pacific. Most visitors stay in one of Kapoho's two seaside residential communities, Kapoho Vacationland or Kapoho Beach Lots. From there it is a short walk (less than 10 mintes), in some places right-out-the-door, to explore the coast, swim, and snorkel in calm waters. Short drives take you through canopies of tropical forests and along coastal vistas. All the while you are seeing some of the newest land on earth created by Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess.
